The Role and Impact We at Intel's Imaging Tools Group, within the Imaging and Camera Technologies organization, are dedicated to developing cutting-edge image processing tools for Intel's platforms. As a Driver Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Linux/Chrome device drivers of Camera IP that power Intel's imaging solutions. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional imaging capabilities to our customers, solidifying Intel's position as an industry leader in innovative technologies. Key Responsibilities - Understand Device Driver stack and related application features and translate them into comprehensive test procedures. - Run repeatable testing procedures on new device driver stack across diverse operating systems. - Record and track issues using reporting systems, ensuring clear and meaningful descriptions for reproducibility by developers. - Collaborate closely with the development team to design new tests and methods to enhance driver quality. - Independently solve problems and troubleshoot failures during validation

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma, BSc, BCA, BTech Or MTech degree in Computer Science or a related area.
- Experience with installing, configuring, and running device drivers and related applications on various operating systems.
- Proficiency in developing device driver testcases that support Operating systems like Linux and Chrome
- Familiarity with basic scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting.
- Strong technical understanding of software testing practices and processes.

- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
