Make a lasting impression at our 182nd Street Clinic, where every patient encounter begins with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming presence that guides patients and families with calm reassurance and clear direction.

Our Primary Care Center offers comprehensive adult care and subspecialties including Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, and Allergy. It’s also home to a Residency Program and provides Employee PCR Testing. Many procedures, including colonoscopies, are scheduled through this clinic and performed at the hospital.

Certified Medical Assistant – Ambulatory Care | Full Time, Days

NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens – 182nd Street Clinic

Bring your energy and compassion to a fast-paced environment where superior customer service and patient-centered care are top priorities. You’ll help coordinate appointments, manage patient flow, and support clinical operations — all while maintaining a respectful and courteous demeanor.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Start times vary between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. depending on departmental needs.

Preferred Criteria

• Outpatient or family practice experience

• Skilled in ambulation assistance

• Proficient in phlebotomy, specimen processing, EKG, Point-of-Care testing, and vital signs intake

• Experience with patient screenings and chaperoning

• Knowledge of infection Control practices and HIPAA compliance

• Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC/Athena)

• Bilingual in English/Spanish                                                                               

Required Criteria 

• High School Diploma

• Graduate of a State/Nationally accredited Medical Assistant program

• Certification as a Medical Assistant
