As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our organization by working closely with teens, the community and other BBYO staff to strengthen and grow our movement locally. SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a Regional Director, typical responsibilities will include:
- Leading the RMR community as they work with teens to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs including large scale community projects and two overnight conventions each year
- Working directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs that foster a desire to deepen their engagement with BBYO
- Building strategic partnerships with organizations, families and teens that creates opportunity for a diverse teen network
- Managing broad-based fundraising efforts and relationship building
- Attending summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you lead teen leadership programs
- Empowering and inspiring staff, teens, volunteers and advisors through your mentorship, coaching and training
- Managing program budget, calendar and analyze business metrics
- Recruiting and provide guidance and training to BBYO Advisors that work directly with local chapters
- Staffing regional overnights 3-4 times throughout the year
- Running a small business as you develop skills in budgeting, membership, marketing, sales, HR and event planning
- Working with a global team across organizational and geographical boundaries
- Building relationships as you network with and travel to other BBYO communities
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT
Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, for a Regional Director, these skills are key to success:
- Experience: 2-5 years of work experience
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
- Abilities:
- Experience with youth or teens is preferred
- Experience leading teams or projects is preferred
- A general knowledge of Jewish culture and calendar
- Ability to travel as needed throughout Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico (5%)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
- The drive and initiative to excel in time management, project organization, scheduling/planning, and innovation
- Ability to travel as needed and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. without holding visa or sponsorship now or in the future

Salary Rage: $61,000-$73,000
