Job Summary

The Red Hat Ecosystem team is looking for an Ecosystem Solutions Architect to join us in Germany.  In this role you will work with the Ecosystems Solutions team to identify and recruit Ecosystem partners, to shape joint go-to-market strategies, and to provide the technical enablement necessary for their successful execution. You'll need to have the ability to develop and nurture relationships with key technical influencers and decision makers within our partner ecosystem and to accelerate their adoption of Red Hat’s portfolio of products and services as the foundation for innovative on premise, hybrid and/or cloud solutions as the preferred choice over which to develop, certify, run and manage applications for the digital economy.  As an Ecosystem Solutions Architect, you will serve as the voice of our partners within Red Hat for the definition, prioritization, and development of tools, methodologies, best practices, and training programs. You'll collaborate closely with an extended team of technical presales, Partner, and Commercial Account Executives across the region, so you'll need to be capable of understanding and balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Serve as the main technical point-of-contact for the partner account and a trusted advisor to partner technical teams and your business liaisons in various capacities: Partner Development/Enablement, Partner solutions/joint offerings, Partner deal pursuit

  • Lead technical conversations, explaining the ways in which Red Hat’s portfolio and architected solutions address the partner and their customer’s business and organizational requirements

  • Demonstrate and discuss how the use of the Red Hat portfolio is able to solve customer problems/use cases in conjunction with partner’s value-add offerings

  • Progress partners' assessments of Red Hat portfolio from evaluation candidate to preferred technical solution

  • Understand the partner business model and demonstrate knowledge of partner go-to-market strategies and Red Hat relevance in comparison to other vendor’s offerings

  • Own and/or influence the Partner Technical Enablement/Account Plan, part of the overall Partner Business/GTM Plan

  • Contribute to, support, and execute relevant Partner Programs and initiatives

  • Align with all stages of the Sales Lifecycle

What you will bring

  • Excellent knowledge of Platform RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or other competitive operating systems.

  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem like Red Hat OpenShift and/or Red Hat Ansible and/or competing enterprise automation technologies

  • Knowledge of Enterprise, Systems and/or Cloud Architecture, DevOps concepts, tools and best practices

  • Ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into proposals, presentations, standard demos & customer workshops

  • Foundational knowledge of Red Hat related ecosystem solutions

  • Ability to orchestrate resources and influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Consultative Selling Excellence

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German and English

  • Ability to present and have technical and business discussions with C-level executives

  • Willingness to travel upto 50% within Germany and occasionally EMEA wide.
