Enbridge is looking to fill the SCM Advisor Liquids Pipelines (LP) role within the Supply Chain organization. This role plays a central role in supporting business operations and core functions to ensure procurement, logistics, supplier management, and contract management needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. What you will do:

  • Work collaboratively with SCM Business Partners, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Category Management, Supplier Performance Management, Governance, ERP Sustainment, and Supplier Sustainability to implement solutions that facilitate resolution of SCM related items.
  • Provide support and service as the frontline interface between SCM and the business (LP) including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Develop and/or deliver informational/training material.
  • Assist with supplier change requests and the onboarding process for new suppliers.
  • Provide support for Regional Contracts.
  • Responsible for planning, reporting, and communicating on SCM activities.

Who you are:

  • Related university degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible project, commercial, technical business or equivalent SCM experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced computer skills (Oracle, Maximo, Power BI, MS Office Suite including MS PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
  • Understanding of supply chain techniques (including but not limited to total cost ownership principles, category management and strategic sourcing models, supplier qualification methodology).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical skillset.

Working Condition:

  • Typical office environment with periodic travel within Canada and United States (up to 10%) to Enbridge field locations, warehouses, supplier facilities etc. which may require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
