The Space Components Business Unit is seeking an Inventory Material Control Support 2 to join our team. This position is located in Dulles, VA and will be on 1st shift.
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
* Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
* Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
* Creates material movements in the Warehouse Management System to support inventory location accuracy and shipping efficiencies.
* Issuing inventory and consumable items, posting of issues/returns to inventory management software.
*Cycle count components and perform daily kit audits
*Responsible for keeping a neat, Clean, and organized workspace
*Responsible for reading all documents and historical data to make the process more efficient
*Responsible for handling materials and detailed data entry of items into systems

Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
