As a Medical Technologist, you will perform and demonstrate your understanding of laboratory testing, technical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects. Working closely with our highly trained team, you will determine results through monitoring and communicating results, reference ranges, specimen requirements, and more. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
Following and documenting all laboratory quality control policies, activities, instruments, and maintenance performed.
Performing laboratory testing while following correct policies.
Recommending solutions and improvements.
Identifying and reporting problems that may affect test performance or results to proper supervisors.
The Ideal caregiver is someone who:
Shows strong critical thinking skills and is self-motivated.
Can work under minimal supervision and shows decisive judgement.
Has a Bachelor or Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Has a qualifying Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
Currently has a certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or certification eligible.
You will be working closely with a diverse team of caregivers to gain knowledge and experience. By setting personal goals that align with the lab’s business goals, you will be setting the groundwork for progression into a Lead Tech, Lab Coordinator, Quality Specialist or Supervisor role.
This role is eligible for $5000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
