Job Purpose:

Caterpillar is looking for Keller & Irving ISD high school students to get on-the-job experience. We want to give students opportunities to build upon their academic knowledge and apply it in a corporate environment.

Opportunities are available in the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology (Cybersecurity)
  • Risk and Compliance (Electrification and Energy Transition)
  • Marketing
  • Operations - Quality
  • Sales
  • Purchasing/Procurement

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a cumulative 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale as reflected on the official transcript (no rounding).
  • Must be 16 years of age at the time of application.
  • A full-time student currently enrolled as senior in high school.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be a student from Keller Independent School District or Irving Independent School District – Texas
  • **Resume and unofficial transcript required (please attach).

Technical Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and database tools such as SQL, Python and/or other Visualization tools are a plus

Additional Details

  • Accounting and Operations-Quality opportunities are in Fort Worth, TX in a hybrid setting.
  • All other opportunities are in Irving, Texas in a hybrid setting.
