The Opportunity Alliance is seeking Relief (per diem) Clinical Supervisors to join the Maine Crisis Line Program.
The Maine Crisis Line is part of our continuum of crisis intervention and stabilization services and provides 24- hour telephone & text/chat response for adults, families and children during a mental health crisis. Trained crisis call specialists answer the line and provide free and confidential telephone support and stabilization 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our main goal is to help callers through whatever crisis they are in and support them through it. If the caller requires a face-to-face crisis assessment, call specialists warm transfer the caller to the appropriate District Mobile Crisis Response Organization (see districts to the right under Resources).
The Clinical Supervisor:
We are seeking individuals who have some crisis work experience who can think outside the box to find solutions to challenging scenarios. We are looking for a team player who is empathetic and can work independently and be flexible with schedule.
Schedule: This is a per diem, hourly paid position. There is no set schedule and hours cannot be guaranteed.
Location: This has the ability to be a remote position (from Maine), or can work from South Portland office. Must be capable of coming to and from our Headquarters in South Portland, Maine for orientation.
