Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Your typical day will involve deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of cloud-based projects and driving innovation in cloud technology. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions. - Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform environments. - Create proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. - Implement best practices for cloud application development and deployment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers and technologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure. - Experience with cloud deployment tools and technologies. - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data engineering and data integration tools. - Recommendation: Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
