At the core of Epic’s success are talented, passionate people. Epic prides itself on creating a collaborative, welcoming, and creative environment. Whether it’s building award-winning games or crafting engine technology that enables others to make visually stunning interactive experiences, we’re always innovating.
Being Epic means being a part of a team that continually strives to do right by our community and users. We’re constantly innovating to raise the bar of engine and game development.
The Identity team owns the services that are the gateway to the Epic Games ecosystem for developers and players of all ages. Our Identity platform grants access to first party game titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys, as well as third-party developers leveraging Epic Online Services. The Identity team solves key problems in authentication, authorization, account management, child safety & parental controls, account linking, account security & recovery, data privacy, and more. Because of the critical nature of these services, we often meet with lawyers, executives, security, and/or external stakeholders to create great account experiences for all.
As a member of the Identity team you will craft high performance online services at scale focused on authentication, authorization, and account management. Backend Programmers focus mostly on the platform API services and operating the infrastructure it runs on. We are a highly collaborative environment with a keen focus on quality, reliability, and usability. From design, implementation, and deployment you'll be able to shape the services and features that drive the future of Identity on the Epic Games ecosystem.
This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including CA & WA).
