What you bring to SBHG: 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required

  • Associate of Arts Degree or technical/vocational school diploma preferred

  • Clerical experience and strong computer skills

  • Experience in an inpatient or outpatient medical setting preferred

How you will make a difference: 

  • Coordinates activities with the Supervisor, Center Coordinators.
  • Tracks client management packets and forms received and completed.
  • Assigns benefit assignment for clients at intake.
  • Checks payer eligibility for clients as required.
  • Transfers clients from program to program and/or site to site within the EMR an county system.
  • Enters referrals from county and admits/discharges clients as needed.
  • Updates referral statuses in EMR.
  • Assists Medical Records with EMR issues as needed.
  • Assists Directors and Supervisors with EMR client management issues as needed.
  • Scans into the EMR all required admission/discharge/change of diagnosis/transfer paperwork.
