Citi Trust international trust companies with offices in The Bahamas, Singapore, Switzerland, and
Jersey Channel Islands, services non U.S. high net worth clients. The Client Reporting (Accounting) unit is under the
Operations umbrella and provides financial information for all trust and companies under administration.
The Client Accountant is an intermediate level position with responsibility for providing operations
support services, including but not limited to client financial statement production (balance sheet, profit &
loss statement, and accompanying notes) and reviews for each trust and private investment company on
an annual basis.

Responsibilities:

• Review financial statements and provide feedback to preparers
• Assess manual custom financial reports which include income analysis, expense analysis,
distribution schedules, and transaction analysis
• Resolve complex and highly variable issues with material financial reporting impact
• Appropriate escalation of significant issues and regulatory breaches
• Represent the department at client and external audit meetings as required
• Influence decisions through advice and counsel, as well as facilitate services to others in
Citi Wealth Management
• Contribute to initiatives that support the goals of the Operations function
and overall business
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular
consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by
driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying
sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and
escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of trust/financial accounting experience
• Understanding of IFRS

• Experience with automated end-to-end sourcing tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
