In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Key account management in accordance to company guidelines and protocols
Deliver sales in accordance with overall revenue budgets and estimates for assigned customer portfolio
Develop and deliver ambitious strategic account & or industry business plans in line with ambition directed by Business Manager and company strategy
Prepare, plan & negotiate complex contracts together with business manager & country manager
Maintain sales estimates
Identify & mitigate business risk
Manage and co-ordinate complex sales projects
Develop and maintain relevant senior/director level relationships within the customer portfolio
Use Sales Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce) to record meetings, projects and activities with customers
Maintain customer & competitor market mapping
Through the use of insights & concept presentations, identify and open up new opportunities, potential customers and new market segments to meet ambition
Apply all Chr. Hansen Sales Excellence tools
Present product range updates, launches, innovations and training to the customer portfolio
Provide ongoing technical support to customer, R&D, product development and production to facilitate new and ongoing sales
Technically assist and/or supervise customer production trials when appropriate to facilitate smooth project tracking and completion of projects in accordance with agreed success criteria
Collaborate directly with global internal stakeholders in sales, commercial development, R&D and supply chain to deliver timely actions related to sales activities
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, spanning procurement, product development, QA, marketing, production and senior management
Participate in any external marketing & PR activities as required
Collaborate and assist internal technical resources to plan & design key projects
Undertake special projects as directed
Provide a commitment to comply with the FSMS requirements and continually improve effectiveness with a view to maintain sustainability
Potentially relevant experience:
Tertiary science and/or business degree
Commercial food industry experience
5-8 years professional experience
