$154,000.00 - $200,000.00

What’s the role?

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Product Manager to lead our Experiences team for Etsy's experimentation platform. As a Senior Product Manager, you will help define and drive the roadmap for the team, build close relationships with internal users to understand product and process gaps and challenges, and enable everyone at the company to learn quickly through experiments.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Product Lead, Experimentation. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What’s this team like at Etsy?

Sitting within the Enablement organization, Experimentation is responsible for the A/B testing platform that is used for rapid learning, as well as quantifying impact of new or updated features and functionality. Our customers are other Etsy product managers, engineers, analysts, designers, and other staff members across the company. We’re a remote-friendly team, with members in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Capture feedback and requests from customers and prioritizing each through consistent, data-driven decision-making to improve the platform and ensure the team is focused on the most relevant and impactful items

  • Define, tracking, and communicating objectives and key results and other measures to track impact and ensure alignment with company and organizational objectives

  • Build an exciting product roadmap that drives a continuous delivery of value and incrementally builds towards a long-term vision

  • Document detailed product requirements and collaborate with engineering and design to ensure excellent product outcomes that delight our customers

  • Partner with the design team to conduct discovery and research

  • Leverage data to derive relevant insights and understand usage of the platform

  • Collaborate with other leaders on the Experimentation team to ensure healthy team operations and dynamics that promote growth, collaboration, accountability, impact, and equality.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovation

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

  • Experience as a Product Manager, preferably directly building services or platforms.

  • Technical problem solving experience and proficiency, including a basic understanding of data science and statistics.

  • Hands-on experience with online experimentation, including designing, running, and evaluating experiments.

  • Proven track record of quantifiable impact through high quality, timely product deliverables.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate to a broad, cross-functional audience, including conveying complex and technical concepts in a simple and easily understandable manner.

  • A trust in and commitment to Etsy’s vision, mission and values.
