Lead the evaluation and comparison of new deep learning models, platforms, and libraries to ensure they meet our standards for precision, efficiency, and scalability. Engage with the scientific community to implement and improve pioneering algorithms. In this position, you will mentor innovative engineers, be responsible for pertinent activities, and collaborate with various teams across NVIDIA. Engage in priority alignment discussions with internal partners for roadmap development encompassing advanced numerical, analytics, and deep learning algorithms. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of research and development while gaining exposure to the entire DL software stack, join our team responsible for building the globally applied GPU-accelerated DL platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan, schedule, mentor, and lead the execution of projects and activities of the team.

  • Mentor, grow and develop a world-class team of DL engineers

  • Collaborate with internal customers to align priorities across business units

  • Coordinate projects across different geographic locations

  • Travel to conferences, other sites, or visit customers occasionally

What We Need To See:

  • Experience leading multiple software engineering projects

  • Excellent programming, debugging, performance analysis, and Deep Learning skills or experience

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative and interpersonal skills

  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineers into top performers

  • Minimum requirement is a BSc or equivalent experience, with 7+ years relevant experience, including 3 years in a management/leadership role.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Experience with benchmarking DL models

  • Experience doing performance analysis and tuning

  • Exposure to HW architecture, ideally accelerators, and to numerical software
