Summary: As a Data Platform Engineer, you will assist with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. Your typical day will involve collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models, while also engaging in discussions to enhance the overall data architecture and platform functionality. You will be involved in problem-solving sessions, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to improve data processes and workflows, ensuring that the data platform meets the evolving needs of the organization. Key platform engineer to lead the development and build of Harness in provisioning cloud infrastructure via the "app-centric model". Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in data engineering. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language), ASP.NET MVC, Node.js. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Node.js. - Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for data storage and processing. - Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes. Programming Background: Ideally .Net / Node / Python Solution Architecture Strong Devops experience - CI / CD, Harness, Jenkins, Azure Devops Github Actions Containers - Docker, AKS, Openshift Azure - PAAS / IAAS Scripting - Bash / Powershell Team Leadership & Mentoring Internal Developer Platform - Harness, Backstage, Port etc IaC Experience - Terraform / Bicep Automated Testing Security Qualifications Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Automated Testing - Security Qualifications
