What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), you'll provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and physician-approved plan of care. You'll play a critical role in helping patients improve mobility, independence, safety, and overall function while reducing hospital readmissions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy treatments in the home setting

• Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes

• Educating patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and equipment use

• Collaborating with therapists, physicians, and care teams to coordinate patient care

• Supporting patients in achieving their functional goals and maintaining independence

• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicare and agency standards

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of employment

• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in an acute care setting required

• Home health experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care
