The International Benefits Manager (contract till end of 2026)

The International Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting global benefits (healthcare and retirement) programs across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with the global reward strategy, whilst ensuring local compliance.  This role will report directly into the COE, with a dotted line to EMEA’s C&B SC Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in global benefits management, including any experience across multiple countries or regions and managing global benefits projects.

  • Strong knowledge of international benefits and retirement regulations, trends, and best practices.

  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain competitive benefit and retirement programs in each region.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, procurement, and external vendors, to design, implement and execute employee benefits strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Management of the relationships with existing vendors incl. acting as TPO, managing data privacy, completing TPRM, etc.

  • Analyze benefit utilization and cost data to identify trends, opportunities for savings, and areas for improvement.

  • Ensuring benefits are governed as per the Reward Governance Framework

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

  • Advanced excel skills and strong data analysis skills with the ability to assess trends, costs, and employee satisfaction.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage global projects across different time zones.

  • ++Strong preferences for candidates with Captive & IPP (International Pension Plan) experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in benefits management, with a strong focus on health, welfare and retirement programs.

  • Significant experience in an international benefit role (ideally gained in a large corporation or a specialist consulting organization)

  • Experience of managing global processes and / evidence of delivery to deadlines/ effective management of multiple activities with conflicting timelines. 

  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance in a large, complex organization

  • Experience in a publicly traded company or a global organization is highly desirable.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex, cross-border benefits challenges.

  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in managing multiple benefit programs contracts, and legal requirements.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of global benefits regulations and compliance issues in multiple countries.

  • Project Management: Ability to lead global benefits projects from concept to completion, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Further in-depth experience and cultural understanding at a Local Operations level is highly beneficial

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
