As a Sr. Cloud Engineer II, you’ll assess the best-fit OCI services and help plan and execute the migration of on-premises environments to the cloud. You'll also monitor OCI releases and plan and execute relevant updates to infrastructure, platform, and DevSecOps environments.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization.
• Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms.
• Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy.
• Monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
• Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 7+ years' experience in cloud computing and extensive hands-on experience.
• A Bachelor's degree
• An active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification
• A current IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE or CySA+
• Ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and best practices for managing infrastructure as code.
• Mastery of one or more major cloud providers (OCI, AWS, or Azure), including advanced services and features.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with container orchestration platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, and experience with DevSecOps tools.
