Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Facilities Coordinator 3 for a full-time position in Northridge, CA.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices
- Stores articles according to identifying factors
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
- Creates requisitions for stock to fill incoming orders and replenishment needs
- Good communication
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiar with Microsoft applications
- Team oriented
- Prepares stock use reports
- Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, for loading capacity, and required space.
- Dispatch and customer service
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of facilities experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of facilities experience
- Experience with warehouse principles and methodologies
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance if/when applicable
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience overseeing and managing warehouse operations
- Dispatch and customer service experience
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $83,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
