The GSK Supply Chain (SC) department seeks to consistently deliver outstanding quality service and value to patients and consumers through an integrated end to end supply chain and is willing to further develop its analytical skills

Job Purpose

As a Insights Automation Lead, your main responsibility is to ensure that advanced analytics and Insights Automation solutions are delivered correctly for the Supply Chain Control Tower. You'll take an entrepreneurial approach, collaborating with business stakeholders and tech teams to identify, evaluate, and jointly create digital solutions that will revolutionize the way the Supply Chain operates. This involves preparing the data for both basic and advanced analytics within the Supply Chain. In partnership with IT/Tech, you'll oversee and participate in the delivery of cloud-based data and GenAI solutions and actively contribute to the development of semantic data models. You’ll prototype visualization solutions ranging from descriptive analytics to AI Insights Automation and will drive LLM training, testing and validation. Plus, you'll serve as a crucial resource for senior stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing them with pertinent and focused data analyses and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection:

  • Proactively identify data gaps and establish compelling business cases for additional data collection, ingestion, or acquisition initiatives.
  • Engage in strategic collaboration with the IT/Tech department, including data developers, DevOps, data engineers, and cloud engineers, to implement innovative data collection/ingestion/acquisition strategies.
  • Empower business stakeholders by facilitating the identification of data and insights needs and orchestrating comprehensive data LLM validation plans.

Insights:

  • Design and implement robust analytics plans to derive actionable insights from extensive data sets.
  • Employ a diverse range of analytical methods, including causal inference, time-series analysis, and hypothesis testing, to uncover insights that drive business decisions.
  • Synthesize evidence-based recommendations for leadership and stakeholders, fostering informed strategy development and decision-making.

Reporting:

  • Innovate descriptive analytics and GenAI alerting and reporting mechanisms that leverage automation through advanced visualization solutions; establish, communicate, and enforce rigorous reporting and analytics standards, policies, and solution delivery frameworks.
  • Deliver succinct, impactful, and timely reports and insights that highlight key trends, pinpoint issues, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Identifying Business Needs:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key business stakeholders to develop, execute, and monitor sophisticated insights and analytical solutions tailored to complex business challenges.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to distill complex issues into manageable milestones, effectively managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining transparent communication regarding project statuses.
  • Leverage expertise and creative thinking to navigate unique or ambiguous situations, devising complex, non-routine solutions to business problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Additional degree/certification (i.e. Masters Degree) on Data and/or Advance Analytics or related field.
  • Strong learning agility
  • 3 to 10 years experience
  • Proven expertise with data insights and solutions delivery
  • Proven track with understanding business needs  and participation on the development of a Data model
  • Master in GenAI, Decision Intelligence, Data Science, economics, statistics, computer science or related quantitative field
  • Advanced experience with SQL, DAX, Python
  • Knowledge of advanced digital analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
  • Strong team player with track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team
  • Experience with Power BI, Aera Decision Intelligence, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, DAX, Python is preferred
  • Fluent in English and French
