The Security Lead is responsible for the day‑to‑day protection of associates, corporate property, and the organization’s reputation. As a subject-matter expert, this role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise‑wide security programs. The Security Lead manages daily security operations, leads investigations, supports global event security, strengthens workplace violence prevention, and delivers enterprise‑wide security awareness and training. The role works closely with HR, Legal, leadership, and external partners to identify risks early and prevent issues from escalating.

Responsibilities

Protect People & Assets

Ensure the safety and security of associates, contractors, vendors, and guests through proactive risk assessments, oversight of security operations, and emergency response planning.

Investigations & Risk Mitigation

Lead complex investigations involving theft, fraud, workplace violence, and other critical incidents to support asset recovery, reduce liability, and protect the company’s reputation. Partner with Legal and law enforcement agencies as needed to support investigations and prosecutions.

Global Event Security Leadership

Design, implement, and execute security strategies for corporate events, incentive travel, business meetings, and associate gatherings across domestic and international locations. Establish strong partnerships with local authorities, the U.S. Department of State, private security firms, and international security partners.

Policy Development & Workplace Violence Response

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve workplace violence prevention policies and procedures. Serve as a primary responder and advisor during incidents, providing leadership through resolution and conducting post‑incident reviews.

Training & Awareness

Develop and deliver enterprise‑wide security awareness and training that helps associates recognize, prevent, and respond to safety risks and emergencies.

Collaboration & External Partnerships

Build and maintain strong relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as private‑sector security professionals, to support intelligence sharing and coordinated response.

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Conduct security assessments, audits, and process reviews to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate program effectiveness, and implement continuous improvements across the enterprise.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of command‑level law enforcement, military, or corporate security experience

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop, mentor, and elevate teams

  • Strong investigative background with expertise in evidence handling and case management

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing security for domestic and international events

  • Proven ability to partner effectively with senior executives, government officials, and global security stakeholders

  • Deep knowledge of workplace violence prevention, crisis management, and emergency response

  • Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
