The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Warehouse Technician I, you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of material.  You will be expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner and to work effectively and productively with others to achieve team goals, while demonstrating respect and appreciation for the diversity of others. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge or proficiency in one to two areas of responsibility within the warehouse ((i.e., receiving, put away, picking, packing, staging, shipping, cycle counting)
  • May require material handling equipment certification (i.e., forklift and/or wave)
  • Respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely and efficient manner (i.e., material must be received in within 24 hours of arrival, material must be provided to production team within 24 hours of request, sales orders must be completed within 24 hours after allocation)
  • Ensure any task that cannot be completed in a timely manner is escalated to area supervisor
  • Accurately perform operational tasks as assigned (i.e., system transactions as well as physical transactions).  All physical transactions will also require an associated system transaction to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained (i.e., material receipt, location to location move, sales order staging)
  • Maintain employee training as required and work within established SOP’s and company guidelines
  • Work with a high degree of supervision
  • Comply with all applicable FDA and International regulatory laws and standards
  • Comply with the Vyaire Code of Conduct and Quality Standards
  • Comply with all CAL-OSHA rules and regulations
