  • Job Description:
    •  The The R&D Leader AlkeGel will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in the Science of Aerogel Reporting directly to either the Senior Manager of R&D or Sr. Director Of R&D, this role is responsible for leading a team of scientists and engineers to support the development of aerogel solutions for several distinct market applications. The R&D Leader will be instrumental in advancing the company's technological capabilities and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, meeting both technical and commercial objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of R&D professionals focused on the aerogel science, fostering innovation and collaboration.
    • Drive R&D efforts in aerogels, leading projects from concept through commercialization, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Manage the execution of trial work and product development, ensuring seamless handoff from R&D to production and commercialization.
    • Proactively manage the process of transforming theoretical and practical research findings into patentable technologies and applications.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate project progress and outcomes to the stakeholders.
    • Ensure all R&D activities adhere to industry standards and company policies, with a focus on safety, product quality and reliability.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

 

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum BS degree in Engineering
  • 3 years of working experience in related filed is desired
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Good team work skills and ability to lead a small team of development engineers
