This is a full-time position that is fully remote based out of Richmond, VA. **Qualified applicants must reside in the state of Virginia for consideration for this remote opportunity**

This position requires specific credentialing and/or enrollment experience in the healthcare industry in order to provide the best support to our team and MCVP providers in this role.

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator performs the daily administrative duties for the Government and Commercial Provider enrollment function. The Provider Enrollment Coordinator works closely with divisions to ensure accurate and complete information is collected and database maintenance and auditing are performed.

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator provides filing for enrollment of healthcare providers with all governmental programs and contracted commercial and managed care health plans. This position establishes and maintains effective communication with colleagues, customer/client base to ensure accurate verification and documentation in expedient and timely manner.

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator develops professional working relationships within the department and environment to facilitate processes.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A

Experience REQUIRED:
Two (2) or more years of provider enrollment experience.
Previous experience using various software applications including MS Office (Access, Word, Excel), e-mail, etc.

Experience PREFERRED:
Previous experience with CMS, URAC, NCQA and JCAHO Standards
Previous credentialing and provider enrollment experience

Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Education/training PREFERRED:
College level coursework in a business, healthcare or related field

Independent action(s) required:
Organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office Access, Word and Excel, and numerous hospital databases with extreme attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task in stressful and limited time constrained environment.
