Role summary
- We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Architect to design, lead and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions across our enterprise. The role combines hands-on technical design, architecture governance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure cloud platforms meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture, reference designs, and solution blueprints.
- Lead cloud migrations, greenfield implementations and modernization initiatives.
- Design IaC (Terraform/ARM/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Architect containerized solutions and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Drive security, governance, cost optimization and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security and operations teams.
- Provide technical leadership, governance reviews and architecture documentation.
Required skills & experience
- 7+ years in systems/solutions architecture; 3+ years designing cloud-native solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with one or more public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates), containers and Kubernetes.
- Strong networking, identity & access, and cloud security knowledge.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud monitoring).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with enterprise-scale migrations and cost governance.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
