Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon 
Location: Forest Vets Woodford, East London 
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) – 4 or 5 day weeks can both be considered. Weekend rota is 1 in 10 on-call, with daytime hours on-site (8am–7pm Saturday and Sunday).  
Salary: From £50,000 per annum depending on experience.  

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a dynamic role in a busy branch practice? Forest Vets Woodford is seeking a confident and capable vet to join our supportive team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work cases up to a high level and enjoy a varied caseload.

- Across our four sites, you’ll be part of a talented group of 14 Day Vets and 3 Night Vets, including certificate holders in ophthalmology, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and small animal surgery. - A day at Woodford can both be sole charge or working alongside 1 other Vet, with access to excellent facilities including surgery, x-ray, and an in-house lab. For advanced diagnostics and procedures, our nearby hospital offers CT, MRI, and scopes, and you’re welcome to follow up your cases there if desired.

- We can also offer a structured day each week at the hospital to support your development, and welcome discussions around certificate studies.  

About You: 

We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ post-graduate experience who is confident with sole charge. You’ll be comfortable managing a busy caseload and committed to delivering high standards of care.
