Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Home Care and Hospice has a career opportunity for a Clinical Supervisor to help oversee our hospice  functions at our Kansas City, Missouri metro area.  This is a great opportunity to use both management skills as well as seeing patients part time.  

Shift:  This will be a Monday – Friday dayshift, but will include extra on call hours.

The Work:

Our Clinical Supervisors serve a variety of clinical and managerial functions, that include:

  • Overseeing and monitoring performance and productivity for all clinical staff (RNs, Aides, Social Workers, etc.) working out of your branch office.
  • Reviewing case management activities to ensure that evaluation and treatment plans are accurate and meet the needs of patients.
  • Assisting with the hiring, training, mentoring, and development of staff.
  • Ensuring that all staff are compliant with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Ensuring that all staff demonstrate proficiency with clinical competencies and that they complete in-service training and continuing education activities.
  • Documenting patient visits, interventions, assessments, and other activities for any visits made in the field.
  • Attending and/or leading team and agency meetings.
  • Assisting with agency-wide initiatives and special projects.

Must be licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Must be a RN.
