Overview:

Drive the development of distributors/service providers on the operational side including but not limited to contractual readiness, onboarding, training, day to day operations, cost management, performance monitoring while fully committing and adhering with J&J ethics and compliance principles. This role is expected to be instrumental in compiling potential candidate pool of partners, bringing the right process design, and management with automation opportunities embedded in operations wherever possible. while ensuring clear communication and alignment across key team members such as compliance, legal, commercial, and finance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Distribution Channels Operation

  • Provide operational leadership and full accountability for all contractual relationships between the company and the TPI(Third Party Intermediary) network, driving profitable growth and strengthening market reputation.

  • Develop a strategic framework to evaluate TPIs, identify which partners are most suitable for long-term collaboration, and define action plans to close operational gaps.

  • Build and enhance distributor operational structures, systems, and processes, including customer service delivery, process automation, inventory management, financial management, and overall efficiency.

  • Offer management consultancy to TPIs to support improvements in internal operations; establish performance metrics and track progress.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess distributor strengths and areas for improvement.

  • Be the owner of back-end process management and drive operational efficiency through clear communication, alignment and execution across cross-functional teams as outlined in RACI(Responsible, Accountable, Consultant, Informed)

  • Collect in‑market data, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Use market trends and digital monitoring to create a brand protection environment.

  • Build an ethical and compliant TPI network with existing partners and potential candidate pool. For existing partners, deliver training and monitor development.

  • Conduct due diligence processes for TPIs during contracting.

  • Prepare management reports to monitor performance in terms of growth, target realization, and budget to support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with all local and international legal and regulatory requirements related to distribution management.

 

Key Performance Indicators

  • Establish a tracking system to monitor distributor sales performance and budget

  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams, legal, compliance, and finance.

  • Monitor distributor commercial plans and agreements.

  • Prepare distributor performance reports and share them with business leaders.

  • Create distributor performance metrics and ensure regular follow‑up and reporting.

  • Advise distributors on critical matters and report outcomes of improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare market, trend, and competitive analysis reports for business leaders.

  • Work closely with the HCC department to ensure distributors remain compliant with Legal and HCC regulations.

  • Participate in quarterly cross-departmental meetings for distributors and service providers for problem solving and process improvement.

  • Conduct monthly visits or online meetings with top TPIs; visit other distributors and service providers quarterly depending on segmentation.

  • Be accountable for process management and operational efficiency through clear communication, alignment, and execution of RACI.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all distribution-related operations.

 

Required Qualifications

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a strong plus.

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales, distributor management, strategy, business development, and regional management (including cross‑country responsibilities) within the healthcare industry.

  • Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English (verbal, written, and presentation).

 

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and digital sales enablement tools.

  • In‑depth knowledge of relevant products, therapies, and clinical procedures.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business plans.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder structures.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead through influence without direct authority.

  • Proven capability to balance long‑term strategic priorities with short‑term business outcomes.

  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.

Additional Information

  • This role requires significant field presence and regular TPI visits.

  • Domestic travel within Türkiye is required as part of  relationship management responsibilities.
