Join our Operations team at our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Carole Park!

This role is responsible for the management of timely and accurate schedules and plans within Operations, including Production, Packaging and Maintenance.  You will also lead the Administration Support Team within Operations.

We are currently offering a $2,000 stay bonus to successful candidates!

Main Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and execute planning and scheduling processes and tools to effectively execute capacity planning across all of Operations.

  • Lead a team of Planners, Coordinators and Administration support, mentoring them in best practice planning and scheduling techniques and processes

  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain Managers in the formulation, development and implementation of planning strategies with the objective of meeting business requirements for assurance of supply, quality, service, cost and innovation

  • Oversee the preparation of Manufacturing, Packaging and Maintenance plans and schedules to ensure these link together for efficient execution.

  • Maintain a rolling three-month Operational plan including supporting adhoc events and schedule adjustments

  • Oversee the preparation of timely Operations plans and monitor their progress to ensure they will consistently minimise domestic and export back-orders and maximise customer delivery date adherence.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure Operations plans and schedules achieve on-time manufacture of product.

  • Prioritise the use of resources to ensure all tasks are planned and completed on time by the team.

  • Identify areas of opportunity and risk for the future supply requirements within the Operations capacity plan and collaborate with Department leads to resolve them.

  • Coordinate administration services for the Operations team including preparation of, and closing out, documents continually optimising the processes to minimise the potential for errors.

  • Prepare factual, clear and well-structured reports and analyse a situation to provide recommendations for improvements

  • Manage improvement projects to meet agreed objectives and outcomes

  • Ensure collaborative cross functional relationships are established and maintained

  • Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives

  • Other duties as requested by your Manager

About you:                                                                                                                                      

  • Previous experience in leading a planning / scheduling function

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

  • Post Graduate in Finance or Leadership desirable

  • SAP experience

  • Strong collaboration mindset

  • Natural problem solver
