SCM Regional Innovation as the mission to empower the Regional Supply Chain teams thrive by developing & deploying Integrated and Innovative cross-functional solutions that enable more Efficient and Predictive E2E visibility for the better decision making. Base in this, the team is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Systems and Data Analyst Sr. Analyst – Supply Chain Management Innovation based at our facility in Aguascalientes

This role has direct responsibility for supporting design, development, and implementation of an SCM portfolio of systems and provide guidance to Nissan Digital on the set up our Snowflake Data pipeline and overall SCM data strategy. This includes to drive advanced analytics by provide recommendations and guidance on ways to translate data into actionable information and insights in order to make better business decisions and supporting SCM product owners, stakeholders, and external partners/vendors through the discovery process of defining the strategic objectives related to organizational use of system implementation solutions, and facilitating the translation and execution of said objectives into a vision and project roadmap that supports synergies across Nissan’s SCM organization.

 Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Project Management – Leading X functional teams and multi-levels.
  • Management on budget, resources and team activities to comply timelines.
  • Collaborates closely with SCM team members to develop a world class reporting and analytics culture –
  • Coordinates with Nissan SCM Team on the SCM medium- and long-term data strategy roadmap
  • Evaluate current disparate data sources (i.e. Access, Excel, etc.) and determine longer term, sustainable solutions.
  • Support to define system specification together with business function
  • Supports system implementation projects that aim to optimize KPI SCM results
  • Ensures “all hands-on deck” mentality and urgency for effective 4M changes, implementation and stabilization of system to meet business needs
  • Supports the system integration of new applications through the IS department and key stakeholders.
  • Proposes and leads new technology acquisition and implementation to improve and streamline operations
  • Fully comprehend warehouse / yard / transportation / packaging activities and dependencies to facilitate discussions processes and workflows

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: BS in a Business/Engineering discipline from an accredited University required (BS Supply Chain/Operations Management/Industrial Engineering preferred)
  • Experience: 3+ Years in Supply Chain Management, technical consulting, or project management.
  • Project management experience
  • People leadership experience.
  • Knowledge on SCM issue (Transportations, distribution, production control, planning, packaging, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan organization-wide strategies and effectively communicate.
  • Demonstrated strong SQL knowledge and all-around data know-how
  • Experience with cloud environments, AWS preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of big data tools: Hadoop, Kafka, Snowflake, Informatica, AWS: Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, and Amazon S3
  • Familiarity with Tableau
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects across various supply chain teams.
  • Ability to create and manage relationships with outside vendors and internal teams.
  • Work as a member of a team while also being a self-motivator with ability to work independently.
  • Interest in technology, and comfort interacting with Nissan Digital Team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of analytics concepts and how they may be applied to supply chain.
  • Travel up to 25%: Dependent on project launch timing

As a Plus:

  • Education: MBA or MS in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Supply Chain
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Demonstrated scoping and sourcing of systems.
