As a Billing Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and evolution of Euronext’s billing application – a critical system used to manage and invoice activities related to the Euronext Clients market. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of data-driven solutions and platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major data engineering initiatives, with full ownership from design to deployment, specifically focused on the billing application.
• Design, build, and continuously improve scalable data platforms and applications to support complex billing and invoicing processes.
• Develop and maintain real-time software and data services that interface with trading platforms.
• Research and propose new tools, frameworks, and best practices to align with Euronext’s data engineering roadmap.
• Estimate development efforts accurately and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and provide training to internal teams on new features and tools.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to define and implement the next generation of the billing application.
• Coordinate with external vendors and distributed teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Follow and contribute to the improvement of Euronext’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

Your Profile

• Strong expertise in database design, management, and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Financial Markets
• Proven experience with cloud-based technologies, especially AWS.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade ETL tools and workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Spark AWS-native ETL services (Glue, EMR).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
• Strong background in managing and analyzing large-scale data systems and pipelines.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data to support software development and business insights.
