Within the EUV Factory (EF) Manufacturing department, we are responsible for the production and installation of scanners for EUV systems. The System Build team plays a critical role in assembling and qualifying our scanners.

To expand our diverse team, we are looking for seasoned / junior engineers with growth potential. Our mission is modular assembly of EUV machines, in time and holding to high quality standards, continuously looking for process improvements.

Role and responsibilities

The Assembler is responsible for meeting delivery time and quality in (Modular) System Build, solving and documenting technical problems that may arise, looking for ways to optimize the manufacturing process together with stakeholders within ASML like Production Engineering (PE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly: Build, install, and align parts and modules for the Scanner in a safe way.

  • Qualification: Test and verify systems built by the System Build team.

  • Ensure a safe and orderly workplace, including adherence to all safety procedures.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and/or deviations to ensure quality and meet deadlines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest product and process improvements and support the introduction of new products.

  • Communication: Report progress, escalate issues, and keep stakeholders informed.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Acquire and share knowledge, and train colleagues.

Education and experience

  • MBO-4 (Secondary Vocational Education - Associate's Degree / UK BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma) in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment is essential.

  • Strong affinity with system assembly, testing and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with both coarse and fine mechanics is preferred.

Other information

This position is worked in shifts:

  • 2-shift rotation: 1 week early, 1 week late.
  • Fixed shift times: 06:30–15:30 and 15:00–00:00.

Once a month you will work on a weekend

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 51,000 euro and 57,000 euro . This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
