Project Role Description: A talented and motivated Automotive Software Test Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our automotive software products, particularly those developed using the Simulink platform. Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software applications. · Utilize Simulink expertise to create test models and leverage Model-Based Design for testing. · Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies. · Automate test execution using scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and testing frameworks. · Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools. · Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality. · Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools relevant to the automotive industry. Technical Experience: · 4+ years of experience in software testing in Automotive Industry · Experience with Simulink model development and code verification using static analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace) and unit testing methodologies. · Proven ability to leverage static analysis tools to improve unit test coverage and code quality for Simulink models. · Experience in writing unit test cases · Experience using a combination of static analysis and unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of automotive software (developed in Simulink). · Familiarity with automotive software development processes (e.g., V-model, Agile). · Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) a plus. · Experience with automotive testing tools (e.g., CANoe, Vector tools) a plus Professional Attributes: · Good problem-solving and analytical skills. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Automotive hardware knowledge (signal conditioning, data acquisition, data transmission, to environmental testing and certifications)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
