ISV Business Development Manager for Workstation Business

Description -

The ISV Business Development Manager for workstation will play a pivotal role in managing global ISVs(Adobe, Autodesk, PTC etc) and developing emerging local ISVs esp. related with hp workstation business.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Partnerships: Identify and engage with potential ISV partners. Do this through market knowledge, primary research and other creative methods. Build a landscape view of the partnerships including their scope, size and applicability to a PC bounty program in Korea.
  • Needs to understand the technical structure of the ISV platforms/SW and how it can be integrated (where needed) into the workstation experiences.
  • Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline. Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow- up by others.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position HP's products and services better.
  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.
  • Monitoring Revenue Stream: Keep track of the revenue stream and collaborate with the 4P plans to push partners along with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team and the GBU.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams (such as product development, sales, and marketing) to ensure partnerships are effectively utilized across the organization.
  • Expand the learnings to other markets. Work with similar markets across the globe to promote the best practices and help them implement like for like programs.
  • Provide support to Account managers and provide input regarding business development and solution expertise.
  • Development of quota objectives and future direction for defined product category.

Qualifications:

  • University or Bachelor's degree
  • Directly related previous work experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, management consulting, or a similar role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the ISV landscape.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar products.
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience.
  • 2-3 years of product sales in the desired specialty.
