Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Cloud
Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park

Roles & responsibilities:

• Senior Software Engineer who would work with Cloud engineers in Bangalore, Sydney and support the DHP team as whole to make the system as efficient as possible, it would be individual contributor role.
• Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development
• Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements
• Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team
• Work within in a team environment and help in the management and leadership of your team and complete associated tasks
• Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues.
• Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments.

Essential skills:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in System Engineering in a Cloud (AWS) based environment using Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure design and operations
• Good understanding of scripting/programming languages such as; PowerShell, Bash, Python etc, as well as good Windows/Linux Server experience.
• Experience of working with AWS Infrastructure
• Working with Infrastructure as Code will be highly desirable; Cloudformation, CDK, Terraform, Ansible
• Experience in automating cloud operations and cloud deployments
• Developing new tools and AWS Native cloud services to be integrated across the bank
• Experience working in a build and execution capacity
• Experience with observability tools – Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana & AppDynamics.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
