What the role is

The role of Assistant Vice President – Data/Information Mgt Sr Analyst will be part of AIM team based out of Bengaluru, India supporting Strategic Information/MIS solutions to Operations.

The MIS team supports generating seamless insights on Operations key metrics in all banking process ranging from Collections, Customer service, Core operations to ATM ops. This helps Operations and Key stakeholders to run the bank efficiently and enable data driven decisions. These insights also ensure operations to meet cost within budget and propel better customer experience.

In this role, you would work along a highly talented team of analyst to build reporting and monitoring solutions to track key business metrics and support Operations MIS activities.

  • Design and development - MIS and Business reporting (BAU and Adhoc), responsibilities across the business channels and management.
  • Ability to understand the business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication with business partners.
  • Build Solution Design and develop the solution by using appropriate tool/technology including SAS, MS Excel and BI Tools.
  • Work with Technology & Operations teams to design & implement changes to suite of information systems & tools.
  • Work closely with partners across business units to understand project requirements, timely delivery, and stakeholder management.

You would be an SME in the group, supporting and mentoring the team on technical solutioning and should be ready to lend your hand to others when needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have 8+ years of work experience largely in the BI / Reporting space
  • Experience on handling transition of MIS / reports.
  • Must have expertise working with SQL/SAS
  • Must have expertise working with Tableau and other visualization / reporting tools
  • SSIS, SSRS Experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in an Operations role is desirable
  • Good to have working experience on MS Office Package (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. with VBA)
  • Knowledge of Python/Pyspark is an added plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience mentoring juniors and driving complex projects independently
