The Head of Digital Operations is the strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring the smooth, scalable, and high‑impact delivery of all digital initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of technology, marketing, product, and customer experience—owning the systems, processes, and teams that power digital performance.

You’ll lead the operational backbone of the digital ecosystem, driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across platforms, workflows, and cross‑functional execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of all digital platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and uptime.

  • Build and optimize workflows, governance models, and operating frameworks that support rapid digital delivery.

  • Lead digital program management, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Technology & Platform Management

  • Own the digital tech stack (CMS, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, e‑commerce, etc.) and ensure it evolves with organizational needs.

  • Partner with IT and engineering to manage integrations, data flows, and platform enhancements.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools, vendors, and technologies that improve digital capabilities.

Data, Analytics & Optimization

  • Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs for digital performance.

  • Oversee analytics, reporting, and insights to drive continuous optimization.

  • Champion a test‑and‑learn culture across digital channels and experiences.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the operational bridge between marketing, product, engineering, design, and customer experience teams.

  • Translate business objectives into operational plans and digital execution roadmaps.

  • Ensure alignment, communication, and accountability across all digital workstreams.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing digital operations team (project managers, analysts, platform specialists, etc.).

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Manage vendor relationships and external partners supporting digital initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in digital operations, digital program management, or related leadership roles.

  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, web technologies, and marketing technology ecosystems.

  • Proven track record of building scalable processes and leading cross‑functional teams.

  • Expertise in analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in enterprise‑level digital transformation.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Background in e‑commerce, SaaS, or high‑growth digital environments.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
