This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on supporting both people and operations while partnering closely with doctors and technicians to deliver exceptional care.
Our Practice Manager plays a key role in shaping hospital culture, guiding team development, and ensuring the hospital runs smoothly behind the scenes so the medical team can focus on what matters most: providing outstanding care to pets and the people who love them.

Practice Manager Responsibilities
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s daily operations while fostering a positive culture and supporting the long-term success of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead, mentor, and support the hospital team to create a positive and collaborative workplace culture
• Partner closely with the Medical Director and Regional Manager to support hospital goals, budgets, and long-term planning
• Oversee daily hospital workflow, staffing, and team scheduling
• Manage the hiring, onboarding, and development of hospital staff and team leaders
• Lead regular team meetings, training initiatives, and performance reviews
• Monitor hospital performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and support operational improvements
• Assist in financial planning including budget preparation, financial reporting, and performance analysis
• Monitor and support financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management systems
• Maintain inventory control processes and ensure appropriate stock of medical and hospital supplies
• Oversee proper usage of the practice management software system to ensure accurate records and operational efficiency
• Act as a liaison between the hospital and VIP support teams
• Foster strong client relationships and help resolve complex client concerns when needed
• Support marketing initiatives that help grow the hospital and strengthen client engagement
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability

Ideal Candidate
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Veterinary hospital leadership experience preferred (Practice Manager, Hospital Manager, or experienced veterinary leader ready for the next step)
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with budgeting, KPIs, and operational performance management
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-focused in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Vetspire experience is a plus but not required
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
