At GoodData, we’re rebuilding data analytics for the AI era. At the core of this mission is implementing AI deeply into the GoodData platform. Not as an add-on, but as a first-class citizen.

We’re looking for a senior AI Architect to accelerate this journey. You’ll play a key role in our technical leadership group, helping ensure our systems stay ahead of the curve as the AI landscape rapidly evolves.

This is not a role for a traditional “enterprise architect”. It’s a role for someone who sees architecture as a living system, experiments fast, and ships.

What will you do?

• Be hands-on: prototype, implement, refactor, lead, and unblock others when needed

• Challenge assumptions when they don’t scale or make sense anymore

• Own and shape the architecture of AI-driven capabilities in the GoodData platform

• Design systems that are flexible, evolvable, and resilient - built for uncertainty, not false stability

• Drive technical direction and decision-making for the AI team

• Work across the stack - backend-first, but with strong frontend awareness

• Translate AI possibilities into pragmatic, shippable product solutions

• Mentor senior engineers and raise the overall technical bar

About you

• Strong ownership mentality - you see problems and solve them

• Pragmatic, outcome-focused, and execution-oriented

• You don’t treat AI as a library to “plug in”. You naturally think about: AI-first workflows, probabilistic systems, model limitations and failure modes, human-in-the-loop design

• Eager to actively test emerging AI trends and assess their real-world impact in production systems

• Comfortable designing systems where determinism is optional

• Backend-heavy full-stack engineer (Python, Langfuse, Qdrant, MCP, Deepeval, PyTorch,...)

• Solid frontend understanding (you don’t need to be a CSS wizard, but you can reason about FE architecture)

• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs and service boundaries and scalable, observable, production-grade platforms
