The challenge we offer:
The time when training required everyone to read the same textbook and complete the same exercises soon seems to be over. What if the training content could be adapted to each person's learning preferences and strengths and weaknesses?
As part of this challenge, you will study how training content can dynamically adapt to learners' preferences (e.g., visual, auditory, or mixed) and evaluate the impact of media personalization on learning engagement and effectiveness. You will conduct a broader review of the field of adaptive learning technologies and identify using the latest scientific publications the major trends and preliminary conclusions regarding the effectiveness of artificial intelligence models applied to adaptive learning systems.
This challenge is an opportunity not only to draw on the scientific literature on the subject, but also to put forward commercially available applications and to propose, or even prototype, an adaptive ecosystem allowing each learner to configure and customize the way he or she interacts with his or her training and assessment material.
Ideal candidates have:
Ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills; Autonomy and initiative
Good communication, writing and synthesis skills
Spoken and written language: French and/or English
Desired Education and Expertise:
This challenge is aimed at all profiles of expertise insofar as the candidate demonstrates an interest and abilities related to the different facets of the mandate
Knowledge of educational sciences, instructional design, natural language processing (NLP), and other fields of intelligence are assets.
Expertise in conducting a literature review and accessing specialized publications on the subject is an asset.
