Position Overview:

The Senior Staff Solution Program Manager, Agile Process, is a key member of the Agile Delivery Office, and a recognized expert in program management and process improvement of Agile development processes. He/she will partner closely with teams and leaders within the ADO and across Technology, Product, and Quality/Regulatory to identify improvement opportunities in our Agile processes and tools, to increase quality and accelerate speed to market, and drive the implementation and adoption of cross-functional continuous improvement efforts to achieve these business objectives, with measurable business impact to our Enterprise priority product and country launches.



Responsibilities

Parter with teams and leaders within the Agile Delivery Office and across Technology, Product, and Quality/Regulatory to assess inefficiencies, bottlenecks, impediments, waiting time, and skills/competency gaps in our agile development processes and tools and design controls documentation processes

Partner with teams and leaders to identify solution to continuously streamline and improve our Agile capabilities, processes, events, meetings, and tools to increase quality and accelerate speed to market for all enterprise and franchise priority programs

Implement, measure, and track adoption and effectiveness of implemented solutions to increase quality and accelerate speed to market

Track and manage backlog of cross-functional process and tool improvement actions identified through each Agile Team’s biweekly Sprint Retrospectives, each ART’s quarterly Inspect & Adapt sessions during PI Planning, and each Program’s Lessons Learned and After-Action Reviews

Develop, implement, track, and report Automated Metrics and KPIs to measure improvements in backlog health, team health, quality, productivity, predictability, and innovation, and assess opportunities for continuous improvement

Maintain and update enhancements to the Agile Ways of Working playbook and partner with Product team on any updates to the Product Development processes and playbooks

Develop and maintain overall program plan and weekly status for multiple simultaneous global process improvement programs

Measure and report impact and effectiveness of all process improvement efforts

Approach all aspects of the role with a continuous improvement mindset and approach

Ensure updated processes adhere to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards, and corporate policies

Perform other duties as required

Required Skills and Competencies

Demonstrated proficiency in program management and process improvement of agile software development processes related to the development, testing, and commercial launch of complex innovative hardware, software, and cloud connected medical devices

Demonstrated proficiency working with Agile teams to develop and launch products against fixed deadlines

Demonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, hyper-growth industry and work environment

Proficient in the following computer software applications:
MS 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Project, Outlook, Teams), Miro, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Timeline Pro.

Helpful to have working knowledge or familiarity with:
- Agile applications (Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence)
- CRM Environments (SalesForce, Marketing Cloud)
- ERP system (SAP)
- Identity Management (Okta, .Net)
- Integration (Mulesoft)
- PLM & QMS applications (Arena)
- PPM tools (Clarity, SmartSheet)
- Validated test management tool - Requirements, Test Cases, Defects (Polarion)
- Web (Drupal)



Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred

At least 10 years of experience in program management and/or process improvement in a technical discipline

Experience in scaled agile product development; experience in medical device product development preferred

Current Agile/SAFe SPC certification with enablement to train; process improvement and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred


Additional Information

The position can be remote, hybrid, or in-person at our Acton or San Diego offices

Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business needs

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,700.00 - $194,950.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
