Job Title: Community Relations Coordinator
The Role
The Community Relations Coordinator partners with Community Relations colleagues across regions to support the development and execution of high impact programming that benefits underserved communities and engages Fidelity associates as volunteers. The Coordinator drives results by effectively leveraging the systems, tools, and processes foundational to the success of the Community Relations team. This role provides hands on community relations support for assigned region(s) and flexes to meet broader team and market needs as required. Meaningful time is spent onsite and in the community to build and sustain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
You bring a mix of relationship‑building skills, project coordination strengths, and genuine interest in community impact work. You’re comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and you enjoy spending time onsite or in the community to understand local needs.
The Community Relations team develops and manages Fidelity’s community engagement and employee volunteerism efforts. As part of the team, you collaborate with peers across the firm to plan, execute and evolve high value programs that drive meaningful change.
The Community Relations Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Regional Community Relations and serves as a key member of the regional Fidelity team—actively engaged with local nonprofit partners, employee volunteers, and business leaders.
Fidelity’s Corporate Affairs team delivers coordinated communications and engagement programs that strengthen the firm’s reputation, support business priorities, and engage associates. The team oversees state and local public affairs, government relations, and community relations across Fidelity’s U.S. regions.
In this role, you help advance Fidelity’s position as a trusted corporate citizen by supporting local execution of the community relations strategy and expanding opportunities for associates and leaders to connect with the community. Your work enhances Fidelity’s visibility with media, policymakers, nonprofit partners, and the public; supports talent attraction and retention; and contributes to meeting client and RFP expectations around corporate citizenship.
Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
