Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Process & Workflow Development
- Support the design and documentation of end-to-end processes and workflows across the following key areas:
- Pricing — map out current pricing workflows and identify opportunities for standardisation and efficiency
- Budget Reporting — build structured reporting processes covering Business Teams’ Actuals, Committed spend, and Forecast
- Open-to-Buy (OTB) — document OTB processes and support the development of streamlined workflows
Process Improvement
- Detail out key processes with clear documentation, identifying pain points and manual bottlenecks
- Where possible, propose and implement solutions to streamline current manual work and improve overall efficiency
- Develop templates, toolkits, or guides that support repeatable and scalable finance processes
General Finance Support
- Support ad hoc finance tasks and projects as needed by the team
- Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions to broaden understanding of the finance function
Key Learning Outcomes
- Build a solid foundation in Finance with key skills in technical accounting
- Gain practical understanding of core finance fundamentals including General Ledger (GL), Profit & Loss (P&L), Business Area (BA), and Cost Centres
- Develop hands-on experience in process mapping, workflow design, and operational improvement
- Learn to identify and reduce time spent on manual tasks through process streamlining
- Experience a full FP&A calendar cycle, gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting rhythms
