Job Title: Associate Manager, Business Development (External title: Regional Sales Manager)

Location: Bangsar South, KL

Department: Sales

As the Associate Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for driving, planning, directing, and monitoring the growth activities of the assigned territory sales team to achieve established stretch sales targets in Malaysia and Singapore market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of a regional sales force (Singapore, Malaysia) in order to implement the organization overall sales strategy
  • Coach sales executives on the technical aspects of the SCJP products and services; marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures that will help them achieve their sales targets
  • Maintain necessary contact with distributors, key customers, and end users to achieve the objectives.
  • Deliver strong volume, revenue and profitability in the Singapore & Malaysia through business development activity, optimizing current customer spend and promotion of the SCJ Offer
  • Develop sales strategy for their territory including managing their territory sales budget.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the sales team within the region and reallocate resources to improve overall results
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing and distribution strategies for the region.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in relevant sectors, prefers healthcare segment experience with minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • Strong leadership skills and management experience, particular with managing staff remotely
  • Demonstrated sales experience with outstanding sales track record
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects whilst consistently executing within planned deadlines
