Job Summary

The Agent Success Representative (ASR) is responsible for supporting the overall strategy for growth of new agents, new contracts, new sales and the overall book of business for a defined territory. 

ASR will work closely with the recruiting team and national account manager to identify and cultivate unique sales opportunities to further territory growth.  Concurrently, the ASR will handle all sales related inquiries from existing brokers (e.g. products questions, carrier interactions, upline/downline needs, sales tools & carrier portals, marketing requests, co-op, leads, etc.) allowing our Sales Team to devote more time on the road recruiting new agents, expanding carrier relationships, generating grass roots marketing opportunities and supporting our biggest sellers.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop the ability to articulate the Garity value proposition, product details and market opportunities to insurance brokers contacted via phone

  • Work directly with the Director Field Sales Manager to develop deep product knowledge in the market(s) served

  • Handle any/all product and carrier related questions coming in from brokers across the territory

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the CMS compliance expectations for brokers

  • Manage the broker welcome process once they are deemed ready to sell from our Contracting Team.

  • Provide all one-on-one training for brokers on any/all tools and systems needed to sell the specific products for which they are newly contracted to sell.

  • Troubleshoot and work to resolve broker issues/inquiries regarding contracting, enrollment, commissions etc. when possible and/or distribute these calls to the appropriate departments when necessary.

  • Provide guidance and marketing support for brokers in need of product information, lead generating strategies or supplies

  • Manage pre-AEP certification process for existing broker to ensure they are ready-to-sell

  • Oversee any/all lead distribution, management and performance tracking

  • Call ALL brokers regularly to keep them warm and interested in Garity

  • Prioritize quantity/depth of touchpoints based on broker production (A, B, C)

  • Evaluate production and contract holes in existing broker base and devise strategies to improve sales/add contracts via outbound communication and direct outreach

  • Work with the Director Field Sales Manager team to develop seasonal performance reports for key uplines and top producers

  • Solicit/close new contracts whenever possible

  • Call existing brokers to invite to training and other meetings/webcasts

  • Maintain and update contact management system 
    Execute on a variety outbound calling campaigns designed to generate new broker leads

  • Monitor broker engagement activities (form fillers, email link clickers, social media snoopers and website visitors) and make contact with these active leads

  • Make calls to generate attendees at our events and webcast and confirmation calls to registered attendees

  • Support other company/territory initiatives as needed

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Understanding of Medicare products

  • Ability to understand and speak confidently about carriers and products in your market

  • Ability to identify opportunities in your market including providers and leads

  • Understanding of territory goals

  • Ability to navigate a variety of tools & technologies
