Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Analyst with strong hands-on experience in NetApp
storage technologies. The primary focus of this role is to manage, optimize, and support
enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Experience on backup systems like Veeam is an added advantage to this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer NetApp storage systems including ONTAP, SnapMirror,
SnapVault, CIFS/NFS, and LUN provisioning.
- Perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage-related issues proactively.
- Participate in storage architecture design and contribute to infrastructure upgrade
initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and storage
standards.
- Ensure data availability and resilience through effective storage lifecycle
management.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Application teams to align storage solutions with
business needs.
- Support DR and business continuity activities from a storage perspective.
- Independently work with end users, Active Directory (AD) team for file share
provisioning and access management.
- Optional: Assist with Veeam Backup & Replication tasks as needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with NetApp technologies including
ONTAP (7-Mode and Clustered), SnapCenter, SnapMirror, SnapVault, CIFS/NFS, and
LUN provisioning.
- Solid understanding of enterprise storage concepts, data protection, and DR
principles.
- Experience with VMware/Hyper-V environments from a storage integration
standpoint.
- Familiarity with NetApp Active IQ and other monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in storage performance and incident
resolution.
- Basic understanding of AWS FSx ONTAP Storage System (nice to have).
- Familiarity with DFS (Distributed File System) concepts and administration (nice to
have).
- Understanding of ITIL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- NetApp certifications such as NCDA or NCIE.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions (NetApp Cloud Volumes, Azure/AWS
storage integration).
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python) for automation.
- Basic working knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication (nice to have).
