Job Summary: 

 

The Program Manager will lead enterprise scale programs involving high-level stakeholders, governance, and deliver transparency across agency and Enterprise partners. This role drives process efficiency, on time delivery, and partner satisfaction by owning programs from inception to completion, manages Go-To-Market workstreams, KPI support, and cross functional governance. The Program Manager ensures that strategic initiatives are scoped, prioritized, and delivered with consistency, visibility, and measurable outcomes no matter the scope.  

 

What You Will Do: 

 

Total Program Ownership 

  • Lead and continuously improve the program governance to maximize efficiency, transparency, and investment value.  

  • Support Marketing & Brand and Ironworks leadership and teams in the adoption and effective use of product and program management toolsets.  

  • Ensure alignment of program goals with enterprise strategy and KPI expectations.  

Delivery Readiness & Transparency  

  • Drive effective and transparent communication throughout lifecycle of programs.  

  • Ensure scoping and solutioning activities meet or exceed 80% ontime delivery targets.  

  • Provide clear delivery status, risks, and dependencies to Enterprise partners and Marketing & Brand leadership.  

 

Governance & CrossFunctional Leadership  

  • Lead and support governance models across programs and enforce accountability and on time delivery.  

  • Partner with industry and enterprise stakeholders to accelerate delivery through structured governance and dependency management.  

  • Enable consistent handoffs and alignment across leadership scorecards, backlog items and post mortem meetings.  

 

What You Will Have: 

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. 
Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives. 
Program Management Experience or PMP Certification: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives. 
IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures. 
Problem Management: Knowledge of the processes involved in problem control, error control and the production of management information or computer hardware; ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and bring them to a successful resolution. 

 

Considerations For Top Candidates: 

 

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager leading complex, crossfunctionalEnterprise initiatives.  

  • Strong expertise in governance, project management and delivery management frameworks.  

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across stakeholders, team members and Enterprise teams.  

  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.  

  • Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skillset.  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while driving delivery and results.  

  • Experience supporting largescale enterprise portfolio management and events.  

  • Experience in Adobe Workfront software alongside Microsoft Project.  

  • Project Management or PMP certification.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
