Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers and ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems
• Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
• Experience in developing Java-based applications and systems
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Experience:

• At least 7years of experience in Java development
• Proven experience leading a team of Java developers
• Previous experience in delivering Java-based solutions for a large enterprise

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop, test and deploy Java-based applications and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies

Key Responsibilities:

•              Design, develop, and maintain frameworks for trading applications.

•              Write efficient, scalable, and testable code using Core Java, Collections, and Multi-threading.

•              Build and enhance microservices with Spring Boot and SQL.

•              Work with messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ, Apache Camel) and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

•              Ensure high performance, reliability, and system optimization.

Required Skills:

•              Strong Core Java (Collections, Multi-threading, Performance Optimization).

•              Excellent problem-solving skills and system design experience.

•              Hands-on with Spring Boot, SQL, JUnit 5, Mockito.

•              Exposure to Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker (or willingness to learn). 

Nice to have Skills: 

• Basic UNIX commands 
• Basic idea on Python /Shell Script
